Short-course triathlon legends Alistair Brownlee and Javier Gomez head an all-star cast for T100 Ibiza next month.

Less than 24 hours ago organisers unveiled an absolutely stellar women’s start list – with Olympics stars Flora Duffy and Taylor Spivey adding to established T100 big guns including Ashleigh Gentle and Taylor Knibb.

Now we have details of the 16 contracted Pro men who will be lining up in Ibiza on Saturday September 28, with home favourite Gomez leading the way. He will resume his legendary rivalry with Britain’s two-time Olympic champion Brownlee in what is shaping up to be a fascinating race.

Reigning IRONMAN World Champion Sam Laidlow – an impressive winner in London last month – is again set to line up while Belgium’s Marten Van Riel is back from Olympic competition in a bid to add to his victory at T100 San Francisco in June.

Another intriguing starter is Australian Max Neumann, who claimed victory in Ibiza in 2023.

Gomez said: “I am really looking forward to the Ibiza T100 Triathlon with this being my home race. I can’t wait to see the world’s best male and female triathletes on the island for what promises to be a special event for both us and age-groupers alike.”
