Katherine Brook
Katherine Brook is a running and cycling journalist, with expertise in trail running as well as the general triathlon scene.
Often found in the mountains, Katherine has competed in everything from short and snappy fell races to ultras in countries all over the world – her favourite place to run is the Dolomites, in Italy.
Katherine is a freelance writer and works for a variety of titles in the sports and wellness industry, including Run24 and Tri247. She has written for Trail Running Magazine, reported on the Talisker Whisky Atlantic Challenge (TWAC) where she interviewed Ross Edgley, worked with Sweaty Betty to curate meaningful copy, and continues to write for The Sports Edit and Active England.
In 2023, Katherine represented the Run247 team at the UTMB in Chamonix, interviewing elite athletes such as Tom Evans and Xavier Thévenard, and took over the social media channels. She has her eyes set on the OCC in 2024!
When Katherine’s not running, cycling or writing about it, she’s usually writing about the latest wine trends, hosting wine tastings, or sipping on a glass of bubbles. With a WSET Level 3 in wine, her passion for the elixir matches that of running – she calls it balance.
You can follow Katherine’s adventures on her Instagram @katiebtrails (for running) and @thebigwineworld (for wine).
