This year, the IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship will head Down Under for the first time in eight years, with the race set to be held in Taupo, New Zealand.

Scheduled to take place on December 14-15, the race will be during the Southern Hemisphere summer and will offer a great chance for Southern athletes to showcase their skills on their terms.

In 2023, Rico Bogen of Germany won the IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship title in Lahti, Finland, whilst Taylor Knibb made it two in a row when she took the tape after winning on home turf in 2022.
