Kate Auld
Kate Auld is a content creator with 20 years’ experience working with high profile lifestyle brands and an enthusiastic cyclist, competing in various triathlons and sportives. She joined Radio 1 after a BA in Communications from Leeds University and has written for The Telegraph, Red, Queen of Retreats and Family Traveller.
Kate is Founder of The Personal Cyclist® which she set up in 2021 following her experience of rediscovering cycling in her late 30’s. Kate is a British Cycling qualified coach and ride leader, offering personalised bike confidence coaching and bespoke cycling experiences to groups, individuals and corporates of all abilities.
Kate’s been part of a pioneering research project into female cyclists at Leeds Beckett University and The Personal Cyclist® has collaborated with Sweaty Betty, Cycling UK and Liv Cycling. Most recently The Personal Cyclist® has teamed up with AA and Conde Nast UK Hotel of The Year Grantley Hall to offer a bespoke bike concierge service.
